The blade of the sword wrapped in wide bands of silvered wire, the edges of the sword trimmed in fine silvered wire, the shaft of the baton wrapped in wide bands of gilt wire, the sword's handle, along with three areas and the edges of the baton trimmed in fine gold-coloured bullion wire, the reverse in strands of yellowed white threading, measuring 98 mm (w) x 63 mm (h), minor fraying evident in the silvered wire trim on the edge of the sword's blade, near extremely fine.
