The Disco is the second AL-star Special Edition for Summer 2026 — and it is the bolder of the two. Where the Rollerskate pairs pink with blue, the Disco flips the palette entirely: an electric green anodized aluminium body paired with punchy pink accents and a translucent pink grip section that reveals the pen's internal structure. The combination is vivid, deliberately retro, and impossible to ignore on a desk or in a pencil case. The AL-star is the aluminium evolution of the Safari design: same ergonomic proportions, lighter weight than you would expect from a metal pen, and a build quality that holds up to daily carry without any concessions. Everything underneath the colour is the same reliable AL-star that has earned its reputation across decades: the ergonomic grip section that positions the fingers naturally, the self-sprung wire clip that holds securely to notebooks and pockets, and the twist mechanism that extends and retracts the tip cleanly without needing a cap.
