WINEMAKER'S NOTES: 100% Gamay TASTING NOTES: The 2020 Régnié Mosaique comes from 50-year-old hand-picked vines, 100% whole bunches, and is vinified without sulphites in 30% stainless steel vat and 70% sandstone amphoras. It has a stunning bouquet with pure raspberry and wild strawberry scents, hints of rose petal and crushed stone. The palate is extremely well-balanced with a perfect line of acidity, very focused and complex with just the right amount of pepperiness on the finish. This is about as good a Régnié as you can find. Superb Monsieur Viet! - Vinous, 94 pts. This is a richer Regnie with a swath of mulberries, blueberries, ripe cherries and cocoa. It’s medium- to full-bodied and ripe, with berry-soaked tannins.
