The delicious if barely medium weight flavors possess a sophisticated mouthfeel while displaying a subtle minerality on the balanced, complex and sneaky long finale. Glowing purple with an exquisite bouquet. The ripeness was very well judged here. A fine depth of deep red fruit, slightly lactic from the oak at the back, the stems very prominent so for the time being a dry patch which will be swallowed by the fruit. The old vines ripened later in 2023, which was helpful.
