Silver hammered ring with green agate and white moonstone
A handmade hammered silver band with a small cluster of gemstones stretching across the top. A glowing white moonstone cabochon, a faceted green agate and a touch of silver granulation. This ring feels very much like the direction my work is naturally moving towards. Three completely separate elements somehow working together as one. It’s delicate but still contemporary, with just enough asymmetry and texture to keep things interesting. Very recognisable as my work, but also hinting at where things may be heading next. This ring is currently a size N but can be made to order in any size. This piece is part of my 52 Ring Project, a personal challenge inspired by rediscovering a long-forgotten collection of gemstones. After moving to Dorset, I unpacked two boxes of stones that had remained untouched for several years — some of which I have owned for over fifteen years. After carefully sorting and organising them by type, size and colour, I decided to bring them back into use by creating one ring each week over the course of a year. Each ring in the collection is made using a different gemstone, giving every piece its own character and story.
