Japanese Black Pine 'Mikawa' Shohin Size JBP SUM 03

This plant is grown from seed that originates in the Mikawa area of Japan. The bark is excellent and lives up to its reputation. Seed was purchased at the Baiten, part of the Kokufu-ten show in 2020, the before times. The trunk has excellent movement. Few wire marks that will soon disappear. I have done needle and bud thinning on these trees to facilitate photograpy.
