Revox B77
7488 Revox B77 MKI Half-Track Stereo Reel-to-Reel Tape Recorder — 2-Track, ¼”, 7½/15ips | Serviced, Aligned & Calibrated | Grade B, Good The Revox B77 is a two-speed, three-motor, half-track stereo reel-to-reel tape recorder produced by Studer-Revox of Regensdorf, Switzerland. The B77 was introduced at the 1977 audio trade shows as the successor to the long-running and highly regarded A77, and the MKI was produced from 1977 through to 1980, when it was succeeded by the MKII. This example is the half-track (2-track) high-speed version, running at 7½ and 15ips on standard ¼-inch tape — the configuration most closely aligned with professional studio practice and the one that delivers the highest audio performance of the B77 range. It has been mechanically serviced and has been aligned and calibrated by Andrew in our workshop. Both speeds are operational and the machine is fully functional throughout. It is supplied as the machine only, without accessories — NAB adaptors, reels, or manual are not included. Condition: Grade B — Good This example shows light marks on the casework consistent with careful use over many years. The transport mechanism, heads, controls, and metering are all in good order. Please refer to our photographs for a full assessment of cosmetic condition.
