Vintage 1930s French hunting jacket - 1940s workwear - velours cotele - corduroy chore coat - 41” chest

A French grey volours cotele flat corduroy hunting jacket, dating from the late 1930s or early 1940s. Noted flaws - uneven colour throughout, various marks throughout, large areas of surface wear throughout the centre front, collar, placket and sleeves, hand repairs and frayed damage within at the sleeves and cuff edges, frayed hole at the inner centre back, small seam split at the right armpit, mismatched venery buttons - please see photos. Freshly laundered and pressed, thick, tightly-woven but supple briar-proof cotton with a brushed back, two button down chest pockets, two hand pockets, straight through button up back pocket, rounded collars, excellent quality, suitable for everyone.
