Per Lütken 'Danica' X 'Aristokrat' Decanter

A 1953 Per Lütken ‘Danica' decanter with circular body and solid ball shaped stopper. This playful design with a large dimple or indentation on each side is often refered to as the doughnut decanter. However, the dimple does not go all the way through the center which creates an interesting effect with flowing liquids. The sophisticated greenish-grey colour of the glass is known as 'Smoke', and was Lütken's signature colour way at Holmegaard.
