Guldvaruhuset Pendant

18k Gold & Moonstone Pendant/Charm by Guldvaruhuset, Stockholm This beautiful pendant features a luminous cabochon moonstone set within a softly rounded square of polished 18k gold. It was designed and handcrafted in Stockholm by jeweller Guldvaruhuset (registered 1923–1965). Delicately proportioned and beautifully crafted, it offers a glimpse of mid-century Swedish modernism in miniature. Moonstones symbolise new beginnings and bring enhanced intuition and inner wisdom to the wearer. The pendant is fully stamped with Swedish hallmarks: 'GVH' (maker), Stockholm motif, the three crowns motif (Sweden) & '18k' (material). The year stamp is hard to distinguish. It is in excellent vintage condition (outstanding for age) with a lovely moonstone that sits firmly in the setting. It measures 16mm long including the bail. The chain is not included, but the bail allows a fine chain to be easily threaded through it. Please note that darker areas shown in the photographs are caused by reflection.
