Princess Susan Aparicio, Miss “Wahoo Willie’s”

I am Susan Aparicio, 19 years old, and I recently graduated from South Fort Myers High School. I am a first-generation student currently enrolled at FSW, where I am completing my prerequisites before applying to the nursing program. I am the youngest and the only girl in my family. My biggest inspirations are my parents; they worked very hard to give my brothers and I the best chance at life. They taught me the importance of hard work and always striving for more. I was born and raised in Fort Myers. While I once dreamed of leaving, I have grown to truly appreciate my hometown. Fort Myers is special not only for its beaches and restaurants, but also for the strong sense of community that makes it feel like home. That is why I decided to participate in this year’s pageant—to demonstrate just how kind and open-hearted our community truly is.
