This joint gasket is made of inorganic fibers and special additives bonded with nitrile rubber and reinforced with metal wire. It is designed for thermal stability in extreme temperature cycles and can handle saturated or superheated steam, as well as petroleum derivatives, ethanol, chemicals, and other fluids. Maximum continuous service temperature is 430°C (short periods: 550°C) and maximum continuous working pressure is 102 bar (short periods: 150 bar).
