Pedestals – Where the Base Becomes Art Discover 'Pedestals', part of an exclusive collaboration between Kunstsokken and H'ART Museum Amsterdam. This design is inspired by the new exhibition The Birth of Modern Sculpture – where not only the sculptures themselves, but also their pedestals are considered works of art. Limited Edition – Only 600 Pairs Ever Made In modern sculpture, the pedestal is more than a simple base – it's an essential part of the artwork itself. The sculptural plinth becomes part of the composition, with geometric shapes in terracotta, brown, and white that together create an abstract landscape. H'ART Museum presents The Birth of Modern Sculpture, an exhibition showcasing the revolution of 20th-century sculpture. We translated the iconic formal language of sculptural pedestals into a wearable design, with each shape precisely knitted in. Only 600 pairs of these socks will ever be produced – 400 online and 200 exclusively in H'ART's museum shop. Once they're gone, they're gone forever.
