The Gerald Charles Masterlink Atelier Edition Rhodium places the extraordinary texture of hand-crafted watchmaking at the heart of one of the Maison’s most distinctive contemporary designs. Produced in Geneva in an edition of just 25 pieces, each Maillechort dial is individually hammered by hand, with an artisan applying hundreds of measured impacts to create a complex field of tiny facets. Rather than relying on conventional sunray finishing or applied markers, the Masterlink leaves the textured surface completely exposed, allowing reflections to scatter across the dial and shift continuously with the movement of the wrist. Its 38 mm x 38 mm stainless steel case combines the Masterlink’s signature asymmetry with polished and satin-brushed finishing, while a screw-down crown and 100-meter water resistance add practical performance to its refined construction. Traditional finishing, including Côtes de Genève, snailing, and circular graining, can be admired through the open sapphire crystal caseback. Completing the design is Gérald Charles’ proprietary integrated 316L stainless steel bracelet, engineered to follow the case’s changing geometry with concealed screws, a hidden folding clasp, and micro-link adjustment available upon request.
