The Purple & Orange Jaal Kurta Set

A three-piece ensemble: a notched V-neck long kurta in dupion silk with beaded tassel cuffs. Around 94 hours of combined patching, markhan and hand embroidery go into each kurta: an orange modal-satin patchwork base is outlined by hand, then built up with golden cutdana, dabka, sequins, fine zari, glass beads and nakshi detailing, with a golden-zari flower motif at the yoke and blue rectangular and golden stones set through the surface.
