The mechanics come down to a steady rhythm of knitting one color forward and slipping the other color back, which makes this technique surprisingly approachable for anyone already comfortable with basic knit and purl stitches. In this three-hour session, you'll work through the full double-knitting sequence from cast-on to bind-off, learning how to read a simple chart and build even tension between two layers as you go. The result looks far more advanced than what you're actually doing stitch-by-stitch — which makes it one of the most rewarding "stretch" workshops we offer.
