MORIBANA VESSEL

The Moribana series was first launched in Tokyo in 2015 where the pieces were used by the esteemed floral artist Mitate Nishiyama (in collaboration with Arts & Science, Japan) as vessels for his exquisite floral creations. Inspired by the sinuous forms within the salt marshes of the Venetian lagoon, each piece is handcrafted in Murano using a method known as casting where molten glass is carefully poured into a handcrafted steel mold and carefully cooled in the annealing oven. Each Moribana vessel is a unique piece and is signed and dated. Designed by Marie-Rose Kahane.
