Diagonals provide a user-friendly observing position, particularly for refractors and Cassegrain telescopes. The 2" zenith mirror from TS Optics is coated with the same aluminum layers that you would find in high-quality telescope mirrors which achieves a maximum reflectivity of 99%, and like a telescope mirror, the coating is protected from aging by a quartz layer.
