What’s in it & when to take it Product When Why Amp’d Collagen Morning 11 g collagen peptides with hyaluronic acid, biotin and vitamin C for joints, skin and connective tissue. 39 calories, dairy-free. Contains ~120 mg caffeine — about a coffee. Category5 Before class Stim-free pre-workout with a full 5 g of creatine. Energy and focus without the jitters — which matters when the work is slow and precise. Super8 During / after BCAAs, glutamine and electrolytes. Long holds and heated studios take more out of you than the calorie burn suggests. A word on the creatine Plenty of people avoid creatine because they think it means bulk. It doesn’t. Creatine monohydrate is the most-studied supplement in sport, and the evidence supports strength, lean tissue, bone density and cognition — none of which is the same as getting bigger. Size comes from a calorie surplus and heavy progressive loading, not from a 5 g scoop. It’s already dosed inside Category5, so there’s nothing extra to remember. If you train in the evening Take the collagen in the morning regardless — it has caffeine in it. Category5 is stim-free, so it’s fine before an evening class. That combination is deliberate.
