Pine Needle Earrings

Ponderosa pine needles are soaked, spiraled, and stitched with cotton embroidery thread to become wearable art. Each pair of earrings is handmade using coil basketry techniques by Allie Olson. Earring hooks and jump rings are hypoallergenic antique bronze and each comes with rubber earring backs. Pine needles were collected from the forest floor of northwestern Montana. 5% of net profits go to the Blackfoot Tribe.
