This Smith Corona Sterling 4A series model was made in America in 1946. The Smith Corona was considered the classic workhorse typewriter of its time, was well built, and was the choice of many writers and typists for decades. This machine has a fast "springy" action and is an absolute joy to type on. CONDITION: This machine has been cleaned, serviced and in excellent working condition with a new universal ribbon installed. Some slight cosmetic wear noted to its crinkle finish consistent with its age and use. The case is in fair condition. A copy of the owner's manual is included, along with a spare universal ribbon free of charge. Pica spacing.
