Introducing the new KF-01 Compact flash, a perfect blend of timeless design and simplicity. The KF-01 is inspired by the legendary Contax TLA140, standing out with its sleek aluminum body that offers a level of durability and premium look. As film photographers, we noticed that most flashes on the market were dull, plasticky, and impractical — so we set out to create something different. We teamed up with a passionate group of film enthusiasts and innovative engineering students from the University of Bristol to design our first flash: a compact, film-friendly flash with a beautifully designed aluminum body that combines timeless aesthetics with reliable performance. The rectangular shape of the KF-01 is inspired by the Contax TLA140, and its body is about the same size as a credit card — making it very portable to carry around, while the minimalist design keeps a subtle, unobtrusive look on your camera. With a guide number of 12 and 3 output levels, the flash delivers an adequate amount of light for most photography scenarios. The KF-01 works seamlessly on any camera with a hot shoe or PC sync port, and comes with an easy-to-read exposure table on the back — making it especially friendly for film photographers. Whether you're using an analogue or digital camera, the KF-01 always works, and the PC sync port makes it compatible with vintage cameras too.
