Confuron-Cotetidot Chambolle-Musigny
A beautifully perfumed Chambolle-Musigny offering lifted aromas of wild cherry, raspberry, violet and subtle spice. Silky and refined, the palate balances vibrant red fruit with fine-grained tannins, delicate earthiness and bright acidity, finishing long, graceful and distinctly mineral. Details Press Vintage: 2022 Format: 6 x 750ml Availability: in stock Country: France Region: Burgundy Varietal(s): Pinot Noir 94 points, Decanter Magazine This classic introduction to the Confuron-Cotetidot style should prove convincing: ripe fruit, whole clusters, and little influence from new oak. The ripe plum and fig fruit comes to the fore, touched with earth, smoke, and leather notes. The wine is very tannic, but there is enough fruit to sustain this level of structure. 'I make broad wines' according to Yves Confuron — that he does. The grapes for this come from four parcels totaling just over a hectare, made in the trademark style. Keep this for three to five years before opening for ideal results.
