RPB Z-Link Respirator Headtop with Zytec FR Shoulder Cape

The RPB Z-Link® is a versatile loose-fitting respirator headtop designed for use as part of an approved powered air-purifying respirator or continuous-flow supplied-air respirator system. This configuration combines the Z-Link headtop with a large, optically clear polycarbonate safety lens and a Zytec® FR shoulder cape, providing extended coverage around the neck and shoulders. When correctly assembled with an approved RPB PX5® PAPR, the appropriate PAPR breathing tube and a suitable approved filter, the shoulder-cape configuration is classified TH3 under EN 12941. Respiratory protection applies only when all required components are correctly connected and used as part of the approved system. Designed for demanding industrial environments, the Z-Link supports respiratory, eye, face and head protection, subject to the standards and components applicable to the selected configuration. Its large safety lens provides excellent downward and peripheral visibility, while the adjustable padded head suspension and ratchet system helps distribute weight evenly and maintain a secure, comfortable fit during extended wear. Airflow direction and distribution can be adjusted using the internal air-deflector system, allowing the wearer to direct the incoming air according to personal preference. The visor may be raised for communication only after the wearer has safely left the respiratory hazard or work area. It must not be opened while respiratory protection is required. The included Zytec® FR shoulder cape extends coverage over the neck and shoulders and is particularly suitable for demanding applications involving metal cutting, grinding, brazing, fettling, thermal spraying, metalisation and foundry work. The broader Z-Link system may also be configured for painting, concrete cutting, chemical handling and other industrial applications, provided that the correct cape, filter, air-supply unit and approved accessories are selected following a workplace hazard assessment. For welding applications, an appropriate approved Z-Link+® welding visor and welding lens configuration must be used.
