RA 9048 RARE EXAMPLE OF UNMODIFED G.W.R. SLOT REPEATER WITH SWITCH

We have had several examples of the beautifully made Great Western Railway wood cased "slot" repeaters but none as early as this, most were up graded at the signal works over their working lige and had their wooded "bobbin" type lightning arresters replaced with carbon versions. Battery switches and internal brass thumbscrews wire connections were also replaced, this example is as original as they come and the instrument bar is also stamped G.W.R. This instrument is in full working order and complete with is brass number plate. This instrument is a rare survivor from the late 1890s! This item is shipped with full insurance added.
