Our craft requires patience and imperfections are part of the process. These items are slightly flawed but perfectly functional. Some of the imperfections include the shape, the glaze or tiny hairline cracks that appear when drying on the bottom. Some see these as flaws but we see them as adding character. Palo Santo or “holy wood” is used to purify a space of its negative energy. The purpose is to bring calm to your surroundings. This collection is intended to do the same. Featured in two colors, salt and moss, each piece features soft contours and a subtle palette. It is handcrafted on a clay imported from Spain. The clay body is a cool warm gray brown. Each piece is handcrafted on the potter’s wheel. Every item will vary slightly showing the marks of its one-of-a-kind nature. Salt is a cool off white. It shows the spiraling marks and undulations a bit more while moss is a thicker glazes that shows less marks of the maker. Process: Each piece is thrown on the potter's wheel, hand trimmed, then glazed in our signature handcrafted glazes. Materials: A gray stoneware clay. Durable, lead free glazes custom mixed in my studio. Color Options Salt: a soft white that can have hints of beige where thinner. This glaze breaks along the surface of the clay for subtle variations. Moss: a soft, warm green that is more opaque in coverage. Size & Capacity: All measurements are approximate due to the hand thrown nature of my work. 4.5 inches wide by 6 inches tall Care: Dishwasher safe.
