Dark Brown Bakelite Switch & Outlet Plate

This combination outlet and light switch plate was made by Bryant Hemco in the 1940s. and has a classic ribbed design with a dashed border, exemplifying the era where Art Deco and Mid-Century Modern design sensibilities overlapped. Condition: Excellent vintage condition, with only some very minor surface wear and smudges. Mounting hardware not included. Dimensions: - Length & width: 4 1/2" - Switch opening: 1" x 1/2" - Outlet openings: 1 1/8" x 1 5/16" - Screw-to-screw across switch opening: 2 3/8" - Projection: 3/16" Note: We have many Bakelite switch and outlet plates available in the store, in both dark brown and cream!
