Antique Bobbin-Turned Wooden Side Table

An unusual antique wooden side table, believed to date from the late 19th century, with a sculptural three-legged bobbin-turned frame. The three substantial turned legs are joined by matching bobbin-turned stretchers, forming a distinctive triangular structure beneath the simple timber top. The wood has a faded, timeworn surface, with variations in tone, marks and wear that have been left visible and form part of the character of the piece.
