Magnum L`Hortus Grande Cuvee Pic Saint Loup AOC France

This is the Premier Crú of Pic Saint Loup and Languedoc. It`s bursting with Grenache and Syrah fruit enhanced by spices and herbs gifted by the wild sage and thyme in the L`Hortus vineyards. Wonderfully aromatic with never a hint of over-ripeness. A landmark wine from a landmark family. Grown mid-slope on dark soils: the Grenache in the north, Syrah in the south and Mourvèdre in the shade. An extended maceration period, 25-30 days, followed by six months in vats before blending, then maturing in barrique and barrel, both new and one and two-year-old, for 12 months.
