Leyenda 1925 Añejo
Leyenda 1925 Añejo Tequila is a rich, full-bodied expression rooted in generations of family tradition from Los Altos de Jalisco. Crafted from 100% Blue Weber agave, it honors the González family’s heritage while delivering the depth and elegance expected from a premium sipping tequila. Mature agaves are harvested at six to seven years of age, cooked for 36 hours in traditional masonry ovens, and rested for an additional 24 hours. After extraction through a five-stage roller mill, the juice is fermented for approximately 72 hours and double distilled using stainless-steel pot stills with copper coils. The tequila is then aged for 19 months in used American oak barrels. About This Tequila Rich amber with golden highlights, Leyenda 1925 Añejo opens with aromas of cooked agave, vanilla, caramel, toasted oak, and gentle spice. The palate is smooth and full-bodied, offering layers of butterscotch, mellow fruit, baking spices, and roasted agave. A warm, velvety finish leaves lingering notes of vanilla, oak, and agave sweetness. Designed for slow sipping, this elegant Añejo is best enjoyed neat or over a large cube.
