Buncho Honey
Buncho washing station is located in the Sidama, Ethiopia. Its founding brothers Asefa and MuluGeta Dukamo opened this washing station under their company Daye Bensa Coffee. Asefa and MuluGeta are children of a coffee growing family. They opened their first washing station in 1997 after many years of supplying their own family’s coffee to nearby washing stations. Since then, they’ve opened 16 washing stations and 4 dry mills in the Bensa, Aroressa and Chire districts of Sidama, and Daye Bensa Coffee is one of the leading coffee exporting companies in Ethiopia. This honey processed coffee packs a delicious punch. It has a vibrant, juicy body, while maintaining delicate jasmine florality and tangerine acidity. We taste stonefruit paired with a creamy mouthfeel on this coffee, reminiscent of the summer dessert peaches and cream.
