Starlight Sesame

From Scent Trunk Starlight Sesame is a celebration of the festival of 'Sankrant’ in India, which marks the Sun’s transit from Sagittarius to Capricorn. The scent opens with bergamot and narcissus petals. Sesame CO2 is suspended on a pillow of tonka. A jaggery (raw sugar) accord with the glow of labdanum and honey envelopes you with a gentle hug-like a bright sun in the wintery season. From Perfumer Anjali Vandemark For me, sesame is synonymous with Sankrant, a joyous festival held each January. It is celebrated with bonfires, with flying kites, and with song and dance. Traditionally, on this day, sweets made with sesame and jaggery (raw sugar) are shared with one and all. Smiles abound. My composition paints a picture of Sesame, a symbol of abundance, warmth, and joy.
