Details - This artwork is my contemporary take on the traditional Pichwai style, an art form that originated over 400 years ago in Nathdwara, Rajasthan, to honor Lord Krishna. The central green canvas features Shrinathji, adorned with a richly detailed crown, expressive eyes, and jewelry that reflect divine opulence. Mirrors are added to further enhance the beauty. His calm gaze, adorned lips, and delicate ornaments are crafted with precision and love, echoing the grandeur of temple murals. Flanking him on the red and blue round canvas are two sacred cows (gau mata), lovingly detailed with decorative saddles and ornaments — symbolic of devotion, nourishment, and spiritual presence. Each background color was chosen with intention:
Green for growth and divinity, Red for devotion and vitality, Blue for calm and spiritual depth. Creating this piece was a meditative journey — every stroke felt like a prayer. I felt immense peace, as though the energy of Shrinathji and the gentle gaze of the cows were guiding me. This set is a tribute to divine love, grace, and the living heritage of Indian spirituality and art.
