British Army Virtus MTP 17L Assault Pack Daysack

The Virtus 17L Assault Pack is the current-issue fighting-load daysack of the British Armed Forces, built for missions where speed and access matter more than bulk capacity. Finished in MTP (Multi-Terrain Pattern), it's genuine UK government surplus — the same daysack issued to serving troops, not a commercial copy. Constructed from tough Cordura nylon (330D/500D/1000D depending on panel), the pack is built to survive the fighting load day in, day out. The main compartment takes core kit, a rear zip pocket holds a hydration bladder up to 12L with a routing point for the drinking tube, and a top pocket is sized for goggles or NVGs. A small front zip pocket and side pockets handle smaller items and elongated gear like a torch or multitool. Padded, concealable shoulder straps and a quick-release chest strap keep the load stable on the move, while side and inner compression straps with quick-release buckles let you cinch it down when it's not full. MOLLE webbing runs across the front and sides for attaching pouches, and a hook-and-loop panel at the front takes ID or rank patches.
