Traditional Trippe light installations commonly use brackets designed around a flat metal bumper bar. While appropriate for many automobiles, that mounting arrangement does not work on vehicles having a round bumper support or tubular bumper bar. This kit provides an alternative mounting arrangement specifically for those applications. Inspired by the mounting style commonly associated with vintage Pilot Ray auxiliary lights, the system uses polished chrome bracketry and a horizontal mounting bar to create a secure, finished installation while retaining the appearance expected on a properly restored classic automobile. The polished chrome components complement both restored original Trippe lights and newly manufactured Trippe lights, making the mounting system suitable for restoration projects as well as new installations.
