Blackwing Hatchet Fish - Carnegeiella Schereri

The Blackwing Hatchetfish is a small, surface-dwelling freshwater species reaching 1.5 inches (3.5 cm). It requires a minimum 20-gallon tank with soft, acidic water (pH 5.5–6.5) at 73–81°F (23–27°C). This timid, schooling fish thrives in groups of 6 or more and feeds on floating flakes, micro pellets, and live or frozen foods.
