From Jan Smit and Nick & Simon to Ruth Jacott and Floor Jansen. Gregor trained as a sound engineer/producer (Royal Conservatoire of The Hague). Although he has always performed live a lot, his heart still lies in shaping music and sound. In his studio, he produces for all kinds of applications, from film music to children's songs, from pop songs to meditative music. He can record and play everything there. Another Life is his view of the world and, at the same time, a glimpse into his inner self. It has become a very personal album to which his best friends and the finest musicians have contributed a piece of their hearts. That is the most beautiful gift a person can receive. This LP is a big part of his thoughts and soul, but all those wonderful people around him, who have put their indispensable stamp on this project with so much love, have made it into a whole that has exceeded all his expectations. Symmetry in the recording; this means always placing the microphones in such a way that on both the left and the right side there’s an equal division of signal, and not placing mono support microphones on the extreme left and right. 5. Transparency and clarity in a recording. This does not mean an overly sharp recording, but one of softness in tone and clarity, in which especially the 3-dimensional recording space is being displayed.
