Never exceed a 5:1 pull with this ring. A 4:1 pull should ONLY be done by professionals, using 2 winch rings, a safety catch sling, and double loop 7/16" soft shackles are required. In these configurations, it is easy to exceed the rating of some tow/connection points, you MUST KNOW those ratings before use. These are NOT designed for heavy-duty wrecker use. Use ONLY electric bumper-mounted winches rated at 12k lb or less. NEVER use Steel Cable with this ring, Only use a Synthetic (HMPE) winch line no larger than 7/16" diameter. Not for over-head use. Description The Offset Winch Snatch Ring is a machined aluminum winching block designed for synthetic HMPE winch line up to 7/16" diameter. Two rings and three soft shackles do the job of four standard snatch blocks and five hard shackles at a fraction of the weight and zero bearing maintenance. Built for electric bumper-mounted winches rated 12,000 lbs or less. The offset design solves a real problem: on a 2:1 setup, you run the winch line through the hole instead of the groove, which means the line physically cannot fall out when tension drops. No babysitter required. It also accepts a cow hitch extension, so you can park farther from the stuck vehicle and reduce how often you have to stop and re-rig.
