SACRED SOUND OF RAIN- Bamboo Rainstick Workshop 12th September 2026

🌧️ RAINSTICK WORKSHOP: SOUND, INTENTION & CREATION 🌿 Saturday 12th September | 6pm–9pm | 3 Hours What would the sound of your own intention be? Join your host Tash at AURUM for a beautiful three-hour evening combining meditation, sound, intention and hands-on creation, as you make your very own large bamboo rainstick to take home. Before we create anything with our hands, we'll take time to connect with what we're creating and why. 🌿 WE BEGIN WITH CONNECTION Settle onto the mats as we begin with grounding and a guided meditation, allowing the outside world to quieten and bringing your awareness back into your body. We'll connect with the symbolism of rain, water and the natural world, cleansing, nourishment, release, renewal and growth, before setting a personal intention for the rainstick you're about to create. 🌧️ THEN WE CREATE I do part of the work for you, beforehand purely because of the amount of time it takes. This is simply pre-drilling the holes! You'll intuitively choose from genuine crystals, seeds and natural materials to create its internal sound, fix all of the layers on the inside, plus add a cap, before decorating the outside using a selection of materials including natural fibres, paint, feathers and crystal adornments. We'll talk about the different materials available, their symbolism and spiritual associations, but ultimately you'll be encouraged to choose what you're naturally drawn towards. There is absolutely no artistic experience needed. Yours might be earthy and natural, bright and elaborate, deeply symbolic or beautifully simple. It doesn't have to look like anybody else's. It is yours! ✨ ACTIVATION & CLOSING Once our rainsticks are complete, we'll come back together. This time, you'll be holding something that didn't exist three hours earlier. We'll reconnect with the intention you placed into your rainstick at the beginning of the evening and finish by activating our creations together through sound. Turn it slowly... Hear the seeds and crystals move through the bamboo... And listen as the room fills with the sound of rain. 🌧️ Your finished rainstick can then be used at home for meditation, grounding, sound work, ritual, relaxation or simply because there is something incredibly soothing about turning it over and listening to the rain fall. 🌿 YOUR EVENING INCLUDES: 🌧️ Guided grounding & connection meditation 🌧️ Afternoon Tea 🌧️ Your own approx. 1-metre bamboo rainstick 🌧️ Genuine crystals & seeds to intuitively select 🌧️ Natural fibres, paints, feathers, crystal adornments & decorating materials 🌧️ Full guidance throughout the making process 🌧️ Closing sound activation with our finished rainsticks 🌧️ Your completed rainstick to take home No previous experience is needed and all materials and tools are provided. Come alone or come with someone you love.
