Her children Olaya and Mario manage the bees, while her mother Jacoba and sister Ines assist with extraction and packing. Their bees forage across the forests and mountains of Asturias, producing distinctive honeys shaped by the region’s wild landscape. The family holds a European Denominación de Origen certification for its honey. Olaya helped develop and champion this artisan soap in collaboration with a local soapmaker. The honey, beeswax and propolis used in the bar come from the family’s own bees, creating a direct connection between the finished soap, the beekeeper and the Asturian landscape.
