Walking Liberty Half Dollar

90% silver half-dollars from the United States are the largest coins available that are .715 Troy Ounces of silver per $1 "face" value. That means that only two of these coins will contain more than two-thirds of an ounce of silver. This makes half-dollars a convenient stacking option. "Walking Liberty" half dollars are also just a cool-looking coin with an interesting design. They were only produced from 1916 until 1947 so perhaps they seem more collectible and feel more historic than a Kennedy half dollar.
