2024 Menghai "Qi Zi Zhi Ge" Ripe Pu-erh Tea Cake

"Qi Zi Zhi Ge" means Song of the Seven Tea cakes. It evokes the image of a tong of tea sitting patiently on a shelf waiting for time to pass, waiting for the tea to flower into something special. Ripe Pu-erhs from Menghai are very special. No other ripe pu-erh producer has been able to match their style and taste since wo dui (wet piling) fermentation was perfected in the late 1970's. The 2008 Release of this cake was a classic, and now again we have an opportunity to offer this great ripe at an affordable price while it's still young and a bargain! Nice ripe pu-erh with sugarcane qualities and a high aroma. Very little dui wei. Solid lingering aftertaste. Batch 2401
