GRIND PATCH
GRINDSTONES were used to sharpen tools and weapons way back when. Someone would spin the wheel with a crank handle, and another person would hold the blade to the stone, grinding away metal to create a new sharp edge. The sharper the tool, the cleaner the cut. We now use one in our workshop daily (with an electric motor!), to grind tungstens to a sharp point for TIG welding. The sharper the tool the cleaner the cut weld. This is a woven patch approx 5cm in diameter. You can choose to iron it on or sew it on.
