Mid Century Haberdashery Shop Counter Display Cabinet with Glass Top

This is a Mid Century shop counter / display cabinet, originally used as a haberdashery counter. It has a glazed glass top for displaying stock, an internal fluorescent light tube and twelve small storage drawers with curved metal handles. The cabinet stands on tapered legs and has an oak-veneer finish. Dimensions Width: 122 cm Depth: 61 cm Height: 91 cm Condition Missing the original sliding glazed doors. There are marks, scratches and surface wear throughout, with visible screw holes and deep gauges to all sides. Paint splatters, discolouration and some veneer loss are present; the glass has marks and scratches. The internal light tube is present and the legs are stable though they show paint loss.
