For several generations, the family has lived in the Centre-Loire. In the early 1980s, Jean-Marie created the Domaine des Clairneaux from scratch in the Sancerre appellation. In 1998, the estate grew with the takeover of Domaine de Montbenoit in the Coteaux du Giennois, our grandfather's vineyard. In 2015 operations began in the north of the Coteaux du Giennois appellation, in the village of Beaulieu-sur-Loire. Today, they join forces with talented winegrowers to develop their know-how on new Center-Loire appellations such as Pouilly-Fumé and Menetou-Salon.
