Slipstream Tank

There is no finishing here, and that is the point. The edges roll as they please, the slipped-stitch selvages stay visible, and together they give the tank its quiet, raw character – nothing hidden, nothing tidied away. Construction Slipstream is worked bottom-up in the round, then split to work front and back separately. The front comes first: armhole shaping along both sides, a neck bind-off that opens the wide scoop neckline, then continued shaping as each strap is worked. The back follows the same sequence, and the straps are joined with Kitchener stitch – the only seaming in the entire piece.
