Design Inspiration The Charles Stewart Albany Lounge Chair carries a classic, high-end silhouette — gracefully sloped track-style arms, a relaxed recline, and traditional turned wooden front legs finished in dark walnut. Charles Stewart has been a favorite of interior designers for over thirty years, handcrafted in North Carolina. Wrapped here in a premium cotton-linen blend from Cowtan & Tout, one of the colors we've paired specifically with our collections, the Albany brings soft, breathable texture and tailored comfort to any room. Craftsmanship The Albany's spring down upgrade combines an inner core of individually pocketed steel coils surrounded by high-resilience foam, fully wrapped in a generous down and feather blend channel envelope — delivering a soft, sink-in feel with optimal bounce-back support, so the cushion holds its tailored shape over time. The Cowtan & Tout cotton-linen blend offers a soft hand-feel and rich tactile texture, with a knit backing that enhances frame stability and fabric durability.
