Hand-Painted Devoré Velvet Scarf — Acorns in Mauve
One-of-a-kind. The oak leaf with acorns pattern is made using a process called devoré (burnout), where the rayon pile of white silk-velvet is dissolved in a pattern, leaving sheer silk behind. The fabric is then dyed mauve and the velvet pattern hand-painted with additional dyes. Washable. Pre-washed as part of the dyeing process. A cold gentle cycle and warm dryer will actually make it softer over time. Iron on the reverse side if needed. 13" x 62" with rolled-edge hems. 50% silk / 50% rayon — all natural fibers with a soft drape.
