Ardnamurchan AD/ Peated Sauternes Cask Highland Single Malt Scotch Whisky

Ardnamurchan AD/ Peated Sauternes Cask Highland Single Malt Scotch Whisky is a limited Western Highland release from Ardnamurchan Distillery in Glenbeg, Scotland. Made from 100% malted barley peated to 30–35 ppm, it was twice distilled and first matured in 29 ex-bourbon casks for three years. Re-racked into ex-Sauternes barriques for another 3.5 years, this 50% ABV single malt layers lime leaf, lemon balm, shortbread, caramelized pineapple, honey, and lemon meringue with nutmeg and earthy peat smoke. Non-chill filtered and naturally colored, it is best enjoyed neat or with a few drops of water.
