Expansion

This portrait refuses to sit still, with faces stacking, splitting, and reappearing in bands of color as if one version of the self was never going to be enough. Layers press outward and overlap, each one brighter and bolder than the last, pulling the image beyond its own edges. Expansion is about letting all of it show, without editing yourself down or staying neatly contained. It's the slow release of restraint, where color, form, and identity stretch outward together, and you finally take up the space you should.
